Short version: we collect as little as possible, we only use it for the waitlist, and you can leave any time.

What we collect when you join the waitlist
Your email address, your answer to "What stops you from improving your German?", where you came from (the referring page and campaign tags in the link, if any), the version of the consent text you agreed to, and the dates you signed up, confirmed or unsubscribed. To stop abuse we also store a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for up to 24 hours.
Why
To confirm your sign-up, send a short monthly build update and send your invite when Ziplex is ready, and to understand who the waitlist is for. Nothing else. We never sell your data.
How long
Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 7 days. Confirmed sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe or until the launch invites are sent; after that we delete the list or ask you again.
Who helps us
- Supabase stores the waitlist (database in the EU).
- Resend sends the emails.
- Cloudflare hosts this site, protects the form from bots (Turnstile) and counts visits without cookies and without identifying you (Web Analytics).
Some of these providers may process data outside Switzerland, for example in the USA, under contracts that protect it.
Your rights
Unsubscribe with one click in any email. Write to [email protected] to see, correct or delete your data. You can also complain to the Swiss data protection authority (FDPIC) or, in the EU, to your local authority.
